COMFORT SUITES KNOXVILLE NORTH, Knoxville

The hotel is easily accessible from Interstate 75 and the Merchants Drive exit. It is 8 km north of the University of Tennessee and 10 km from Thompson-Boling Arena. McGhee Tyson Airport is 24 km away. Several restaurants are within walking distance, including Applebee's (0.5 km), Monterrey Mexican, Hooters, and Waffle House (all 0.5 km). Downtown Knoxville's historic buildings, theatres, museums, and festivals are a short drive. The location is convenient for Neyland Stadium, Knoxville Convention Center, and the zoo, but the immediate surroundings include train tracks and commercial areas, so rooms facing the road can be noisier.

All rooms are spacious suites equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, flat-screen TVs, mini bars, curved shower rods, desks, and down pillows. Every room includes a recharge device with AC/USB outlets, air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, and tea/coffee makers. Deluxe suites feature two rooms with a private bedroom, sitting area, and two TVs. Sofa beds are standard across all rooms. Beds are generally described as comfortable, though mattress firmness varies. Some rooms have signs of wear - scratched furniture, stained carpets, or dated decor. Soundproofing is moderate; street noise and nearby train tracks can be audible. The A/C unit can be loud in some units. Higher-floor rooms away from the elevator tend to be quieter. A step stool is available upon request for high beds. The property is 100% non-smoking.

A complimentary hot breakfast is provided each morning, featuring eggs, meat (sausage patties), yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, bagels, and beverages including coffee and juice. Breakfast hours are Monday-Friday 6:00-9:00 AM and Saturday-Sunday 7:00-10:00 AM. If you need to leave before breakfast service starts, a Your Suite Success Grab & Go bag is available for the two hours prior. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but several dining options are within a short walk, including Applebee's (0.5 km), Monterrey Mexican, Hooters, Waffle House, and FullService BBQ (all 0.5 km). The breakfast area can get crowded during peak hours.

The indoor swimming pool is heated and open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. However, the heating system has been reported as unreliable - the water temperature can be significantly cooler than expected, particularly during colder months. The pool is small. Sun loungers are provided. The fitness centre includes exercise equipment; the treadmill has occasionally been out of order. There is no hot tub, sauna, or spa on site.
