COMFORT SUITES GATLINBURG DOWNTOWN-CONVENTION CENTER, Gatlinburg

The hotel is centrally located less than 1 km from Ober Gatlinburg and a 14-minute walk from Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. The main strip with restaurants, shops, and attractions is a 5-10 minute walk. Dollywood and Dolly Parton's Stampede are each 14 km away by car. McGhee Tyson Airport is 70 km from the hotel. The walk to the main street is manageable for most guests, but those with mobility concerns may find the distance challenging. Nearby dining options include Mellow Mushroom, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, and Best Italian Cafe & Pizzeria, all within 0.5 km. Parking is free and on-site, but spaces are tight, particularly for larger vehicles.

Rooms are suites offering separate seating areas, air conditioning, tea and coffee makers, refrigerators, work desks, and large TVs. Most rooms feature mountain views. Bed configurations include king or queen beds, with some rooms accommodating up to three beds. The rooms are described as spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds and working A/C. However, noise from upper floors is a common issue, making rooms on upper floors less ideal for light sleepers. Some rooms lack bedside tables. The A/C unit can be loud, even when off. Ironing facilities and free toiletries are provided. No balconies are available.

The indoor swimming pool is heated and open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, with towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas provided. A separate kids' pool is also available. The fitness centre is free and includes dumbbells up to 23 kg. The pool can become busy and occasionally warm, but is generally well-maintained. The property also features an outdoor terrace with seating and an outdoor fireplace, offering views of the surrounding mountains. Board games and puzzles are available for family entertainment.
