COUNTRY INN & SUITES BY RADISSON, DELTA PARK NORTH PORTLAND, Portland

The hotel sits off Interstate 5, providing quick access to downtown Portland, Portland International Airport (about 10-15 minutes), and major venues like the Portland International Raceway and Expo Center (both under 3 km). A public transport stop is within a 5-minute walk for car-free trips to the city centre. The immediate area is industrial and has a heavy homeless presence, especially in the parking lot and adjacent lots. Security patrols the lot and the lobby is only accessible by key card after hours, but many travelers do not feel comfortable walking around the area, especially after dark. Nearby dining options are limited to a few fast-food outlets and a Shari's restaurant 0.5 km away; a car is practically necessary for meals and errands.

The free breakfast includes scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, breads, pastries, and a make-your-own waffle bar. The breakfast seating area can be crowded on weekends, and food refills are sometimes slow during peak hours. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner; the nearest dining options are a Shari's restaurant 0.5 km away and a few fast-food outlets within a short drive. For a wider selection, the Kenton area and Tomahawk Island (minutes by car) offer several sit-down restaurants and seafood spots. 24-hour coffee, tea, and cookies are available in the lobby.

The fitness centre is free and open 24/7, though it is small and has only basic equipment. The lights in the gym are not always on, so you may need to ask the front desk to turn them on at night. There is no swimming pool, hot tub, or spa. The hotel has a picnic area and a terrace. Adjacent to the hotel are large sports fields and a running track, which are popular with local teams and provide a good space for walking or jogging during daylight. For golf, a course is available within 3 km at an additional charge.
