GRANDE CAYMAN RESORT, Myrtle Beach

The property is located on the beach, providing immediate sand and surf access. Ripley's Aquarium and Broadway at the Beach are both about 10 minutes by car. Nearby shopping includes Tanger Outlets (7 km), Myrtle Beach Mall (8 km), and Coastal Grand Mall (12 km). Several restaurants, including Ocean View Cafe, Cafe Du Port, and Starbucks, are within a 5-minute walk. The area is car-dependent for most attractions, but free on-site parking makes it convenient to come and go.

A range of accommodation types is available, from deluxe rooms with a kitchenette to multi-bedroom apartments with a fully equipped kitchen. Many rooms are spacious and include a living area, flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom with a bath and shower. Some apartments have two bathrooms. The property is older and many units show dated furnishings and signs of wear; common issues include dirty floors, stained furniture, and maintenance problems. Rooms on lower floors near the parking garage can experience noise from traffic and hallway activity. The parking garage is directly adjacent to room floors, which provides convenience but also potential noise.

Due South Restaurant serves breakfast (7am-11am) for $12.95 per adult, $6.95 per child (ages 6-12), and $5.95 for children 5 & under (not including tax/tip), and dinner (4pm-9pm). Turtle Bay Café offers sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Starbucks is open daily until early evening. An on-site bar/ lounge and a poolside tiki bar (seasonal hours) are available. Breakfast can be booked at a discount in advance when reserving a room. For those preferring to buy groceries, the kitchen facilities in apartments allow for self-catering.

Free public parking is available on site without reservation; parking is on the same level as the rooms via a parking garage. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all rooms. Other services include a 24-hour front desk, concierge service, daily housekeeping (upon request), safety deposit boxes, and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Meeting/banquet facilities are available at an additional charge. The property has elevators that reach all floors, accessible parking, and is designated as a non-smoking facility. On-site laundry facilities (washers and dryers) are available for guest use. Card payment requires the same card used for booking to be presented at check-in.
