WEST CROMWELL HOTEL, London

West Cromwell Hotel sits on West Cromwell Road, a six-lane thoroughfare that generates significant traffic noise, especially in front-facing rooms. Earl's Court Underground Station is an 8-minute walk away, providing direct District and Piccadilly line services to central London, the West End, and Heathrow Airport. The neighbourhood is safe and well-connected, with bus stops right outside the hotel. A large Tesco supermarket is just 1 minute away, and Kensington High Street and the Museum Mile are within a 15-minute walk. Stylish Knightsbridge is 20 minutes on foot. While the location is excellent for transport and amenities, the main road noise is a factor for light sleepers.

Rooms at West Cromwell Hotel are generally small, matching the budget category. All have a private bathroom with toilet and shower, a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities. Single and double rooms are compact, with limited space for luggage. Twin rooms have two single beds, triple rooms a double and a single, and quadruple rooms can be configured with either two double beds or one double and two singles (subject to availability). There is no air conditioning; a fan is provided in every room. Ground-floor rooms and a lift are available. Rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter, while those facing West Cromwell Road experience substantial road noise. The property is older and the decor is basic; some rooms have been described as dated with worn carpets and furniture. The small lift can be tight for one person with luggage.

West Cromwell Hotel does not have a restaurant and does not serve breakfast. A 24-hour supermarket (Tesco) is a 1-minute walk away, offering groceries, snacks, and drinks. The surrounding area on Earl's Court Road has numerous dining options within a 5-minute walk, including Zizzi's, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, You Me Sushi, Addie's Thai Cafe, and Giorgio's Pizzeria. There is no bar or shared kitchen on site. The front desk does not sell bottled water, but the nearby supermarket covers that need.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all areas, a 24-hour front desk, and free luggage storage before check-in or after checkout (though no locked storage room is available). Daily housekeeping is included, with beds made and fresh towels provided. The small lift serves all floors. Other services include ironing and fax/photocopying. A safety deposit box is available at reception. There is no parking, no restaurant, no bar, no laundry on site (a public laundry is a 5-minute walk on Earl's Court Road), and no airport shuttle. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, and pets are not accepted.
