Multiple restaurants, cafes (e.g., Selesa Restaurant Hyde Park, Cafe Aphrodite, Cocotte Notting Hill), and a late-opening supermarket are within a 5-minute walk. Stansted Airport is reachable via the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street followed by the Central line. The area is considered safe, even late at night, with a 40-minute walk to more central areas like Oxford Street.

All rooms are mixed gender. Dormitories feature bunk beds with privacy curtains, individual lockers (padlocks sold at reception for £3), and a comfortable mattress. Rooms are compact - around 16-20 m² - which can make opening large luggage challenging. Several dorms have windows partially blocked by bunk beds, limiting natural light and ventilation. In warmer months, rooms can become uncomfortably hot, especially on higher floors. Private rooms (twin with shared bathroom, double with shared bathroom) offer parquet flooring and heating. All bathrooms are shared and small - some have limited space inside the shower cubicle. Bunks on upper floors involve climbing steep stairs; no lift is available. The building is an older property, so sound travel between floors is notable, particularly at night.

The complimentary family dinner is prepared by staff each evening around 18:00, featuring vegetarian options. It is a core social experience, encouraging travellers to meet and eat together. After the meal, the kitchen and common area transition into a party space with drinking games and music until approximately 22:00. Consequently, the kitchen is closed for self-catering during and after the dinner period. The hostel does not provide breakfast. A well-equipped shared kitchen is available outside those hours, with ovens, microwaves, cooking utensils, and fridges for guest use.
