DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM WEST PALM BEACH, West Palm Beach

The hotel sits directly off the I-95 freeway, which provides quick highway access but also brings traffic noise into many rooms. The area around the property has been described as less safe, with reports of drug activity in the parking lot. Public bus service is accessible from the front of the hotel, and a Walmart Supercenter is about 2 km away. Several restaurants, including Cracker Barrel and Burger King, are within walking distance. The cruise port is a 10-minute drive, and spring training stadiums are four minutes away by car.

Standard rooms include a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, ironing equipment, and a private bathroom with a shower. Many reviews note that furnishings feel old and worn, carpets are stained, and bedding may have cigarette burns. Bugs such as cockroaches and ants have been found in rooms. Air conditioning units are frequently problematic - they may leak, fail to cool, or be stuck on a single setting. Soundproofing is very poor; conversations in adjacent rooms and freeway noise can be clearly heard. Toilets in some rooms are unusually low and prone to overflowing. The hotel does not have a closet, but an ironing board is provided. Guests wanting daily housekeeping must specifically request it.

There is no complimentary breakfast at this property. The on-site IHOP provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner at standard menu prices. Some guests appreciated the convenience of taking coffee back to their room. The restaurant's service quality and hours have varied over time; it has been known to close temporarily. If the IHOP is unavailable, a Cracker Barrel and Burger King are within a short walk. The Island Style Caribbean Bakery is half a kilometre away for alternative breakfast options.

The outdoor pool is heated and surrounded by a fence, with a sun terrace and outdoor furniture. However, cleanliness has been a concern - bird droppings and debris have been observed, and the water has appeared cloudy. The pool may not be suitable for use without first checking its condition. There are no other wellness or leisure facilities on site.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel but may not reach rooms at the back of the property; the strongest signal is near the lobby. Parking is free and on-site, but the lot has been noted as a location for loitering and occasional drug activity. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge services and an ATM. Daily housekeeping is available only on request at extra cost; otherwise, towels must be collected from reception. Laundry service is free. The business centre has a computer and fax/photocopying (additional charge). Safety deposit boxes are available for a fee. Pets are allowed with possible charges. The property is wheelchair accessible and includes lifts. Vending machines supply drinks and snacks.
