FAIRFIELD INN ROCHESTER AIRPORT, Rochester

The terminal is roughly a one-minute walk; luggage can be wheeled directly across the road, and the rental-car return and airport parking garage are close by. The free shuttle covers those who prefer not to walk. Driving access follows airport road patterns, so navigation apps may route drivers through airport parking before reaching the hotel entrance. University of Rochester is 5 km away, the Susan B Anthony House is 5 km away, and an ice-skating rink is nearby. Subway, Red Osier, and Gusto are within 0.5 km, with Divino 1 km away; Uber is the recommended way to reach the University of Rochester River Campus.

Bed options are a king bed or two full-size beds, with triple, quadruple, and family layouts; no balcony rooms are available. Rooms are generally spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with clean beds. Condition varies across the property: updated sections have newer carpet and fresh finishes, while older sections can show worn carpet, noticeable odors, loud heating/cooling units, and minor maintenance issues such as sticky residue or broken bathroom fixtures. Bathrooms are compact. Checking the room at check-in and requesting an updated room if needed is the most practical approach.

The breakfast spread includes hot items such as eggs, potatoes, and sausages, plus pastries and a bright, spacious dining area. Lactose-free milk, non-dairy milk, and gluten-free options are available, and special diet menus can be requested. There is no full restaurant or bar on site; the minimarket stocks frozen meals and snacks, and vending machines are available around the clock. A kid-friendly buffet is part of the breakfast service.

Towels and water are provided in the fitness area. There is no swimming pool or spa on site. For local leisure, an ice-skating rink is located near the hotel, and the Susan B Anthony House is about 5 km away for a wider activity option.

The shuttle operates around the clock and typically arrives five minutes after being requested from the front desk. On-site parking is free and reservation-free but limited; validated airport yellow-lot parking is available for park-and-fly stays. The 24-hour front desk team is consistently helpful for shuttle ordering, early check-in, and local transport advice. A business centre with free fax/photocopying, express check-in/out, and a free safety deposit box are available. Electric vehicle charging is available for a fee. The property has a lift, disabled-access facilities, and is non-smoking throughout; pets are not allowed. Cots are available. A minimarket, vending machines, shared lounge/TV area, and car hire are also on site. Security includes CCTV, key-card access, and smoke alarms. Late check-out can be requested but is not guaranteed. Major credit cards are accepted.
