DAYS INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM FORT MYERS NEAR JETBLUE PARK, Gateway

The hotel sits 1 km from Interstate 75, offering quick highway access across the Fort Myers area. Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is a 7-minute drive away, while Florida Gulf Coast University is 8 minutes by car and Fort Myers city centre is 16 minutes away. Nearby dining includes Subway (0.5 km), Dunkin' Donuts (1 km), Stevie Tomato's Sports Page and Rusty's Raw Bar and Grill (both 2 km). A Cracker Barrel, CVS, and gas stations are within walking distance, making it easy to grab essentials or a meal without a car. The property is well-suited for travellers with their own vehicle, as the free on-site parking and central location to highways, the airport, and local colleges make it a practical base for short stays or university visits.

Each room features air conditioning, a satellite TV, desk, ironing facilities, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The en suite bathroom includes a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms offer a tea and coffee maker, and family rooms with a sofa bed are available. Rooms are generally spacious and clean, and those on higher floors tend to be quieter. However, road-facing rooms and those near the laundry or lobby may experience noise; requesting a room away from these areas is advisable. Several reports note that some rooms have hard mattresses and that the bedside pillows are firm, which may not suit all preferences. The property uses vinyl tile floors in rooms, and some units have a portable dehumidifier that adds background noise. Rooms do not have balconies. The overall accommodation is functional, clean, and well-suited for airport layovers or business trips, with modern, basic furnishings.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with yogurt, apples, hard-boiled eggs, milk, coffee, honey buns, waffles, cereal, and orange juice. It is available daily from 6:00 to 9:00 and is charged at 6 USD per person. While the selection is limited, the breakfast attendant is often noted as helpful and friendly. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar on site; however, several dining options are within walking distance, including a Cracker Barrel adjacent to the property, and Subway and Rusty's Raw Bar and Grill are a short drive away.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property, though reliability can vary - some connections have been unstable, so downloading important files ahead of time is recommended. Free public parking is available on site with no reservation needed. A 24-hour front desk is provided via a remote kiosk system, not an on-site person, for check-in/check-out and general inquiries. A business centre and meeting/banquet facilities are available. Laundry services are offered for an additional charge (vending machines for snacks and drinks are also on site). Daily housekeeping is provided, and the property has a lift (elevator) and is wheelchair accessible. No on-site restaurant or spa. The hotel is fully non-smoking and does not accept pets. The check-out process also uses the kiosk; failing to complete the on-screen steps may delay the return of the incidental deposit.
