DAYTON HOUSE RESORT - BW SIGNATURE COLLECTION, Myrtle Beach

The resort sits directly on the sandy beach, offering immediate ocean access. Myrtle Beach Convention Center is a 10-minute walk away, and the Myrtle Beach Skywheel is a 3-minute drive. Myrtle Beach International Airport is 8 km from the property. Broadway at the Beach is 3 km from the resort. Several casual dining options are within a 0.5 km walk, including John's Restaurant, River City Cafe, and Donald's Pancake House. The property spans multiple buildings on both sides of Ocean Boulevard; some buildings are non-oceanfront and located across the street, which may require a short walk to the beach and main facilities.

Three room categories are available: standard rooms with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; efficiency units with a small stove, oven, microwave, and 3/4-size fridge; and suites with a full-size stove, full-size fridge, microwave, and larger living area. Suites also include a sofa and chair, and queen suites have a Murphy bed in the living room. Oceanfront rooms offer full beach and water views. The West Building houses the smallest unit - a queen-bed room across the street from the ocean - which is furthest from the main facilities. The property shows variable interior conditions; some rooms have updated paint, mattresses, and carpet, while others are older with worn bathrooms, dusty baseboards, and musty odors. Air conditioning is standard in all rooms.

The Rose Room serves a hot breakfast buffet included with your stay, featuring scrambled eggs, hash browns, grits, sausage, waffles, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The breakfast staff is consistently described as friendly and accommodating. The Yella Umbrella Bar and Grill operates seasonally by the outdoor pool, open 11:00 to 21:00, and provides cocktails, beer, shaved ice, nachos, and other snacks. Several nearby restaurants are within a 0.5 km walk, including John's Restaurant (American, family-friendly), River City Cafe, and Magnolia's at 26th.

Free WiFi is available in all areas. Free private parking is available on site without reservation, across five open lots and two parking garages; during peak times, parking can be tight, and overflow parking in the garage involves stairs. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and an ATM on site. Luggage storage is available. Laundry facilities are on site for an additional charge. Daily housekeeping is free but limited to trash removal and towel replacement. A minimarket is on site. The property has a lift, designated smoking areas, and facilities for disabled guests. Safety features include 24-hour security, key card access, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and safety deposit boxes. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Carte Blanche, MasterCard.
