The resort sits on the oceanfront with direct beach access, placing guests steps from the sand and surf. Myrtle Beach International Airport is 4 km away, making arrival straightforward by car or taxi. Broadway at the Beach (6 km) and the Myrtle Beach Convention Center (4 km) are a short drive north, while The Market Common (6 km) offers shopping and dining to the south. The immediate area is walkable, with several restaurants within 0.5 km, including Pizza Romana Originale, Breakfast at Tena's, and Villa Romana Italian Restaurant. The on-site parking garage is attached to the resort, but ongoing construction means the front lobby and check-in area are temporarily relocated to the restaurant next door, so first-time visitors should allow extra time to navigate arrival.

Room types range from junior suites to oceanfront double suites, with many offering private balconies and direct ocean views. The Oceanfront Double Suite includes a separate bedroom with a door for privacy and a pull-down bed in the living room. Efficiency units and most suites come with a full kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, basic cookware and dinnerware), while junior suites have a mini-fridge and microwave. All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms include a seating area, ironing facilities, and carpeted floors. The overall condition of the rooms varies significantly. Those on the 6th floor are under active renovation, and guests should be aware that room quality and cleanliness can be inconsistent. Room views are defined as interior (no view), ocean view (partial/side view of the ocean), and oceanfront (directly in front of the ocean). There are no adjoining rooms, and all accommodations are non-smoking.

Loco Gecko, located next door to the hotel, serves American fare for lunch and dinner, and features a menu that can be ordered from the resort. Vista 9 offers a breakfast buffet for an additional charge of $14 per person - pricing and operating hours should be confirmed at check-in. The on-site bar at the outdoor pool (Tipsy Turtle) provides alcoholic drinks. The immediate neighborhood adds further dining options within a 5-minute walk, including Pizza Romana Originale, Breakfast at Tena's, Villa Romana Italian Restaurant, Atlantis Restaurants, Best of Philly, and Shiver Me Pinchers. Many rooms have full kitchens, making it easy to prepare meals in the room - a useful option given that daily housekeeping is limited.

The resort provides three outdoor pools and one indoor pool, plus a lazy river - all open year-round. The indoor pools and several hot tubs are heated; the outdoor pool with the palm tree is heated seasonally in fall and winter. One outdoor pool is designated for children and a smaller whirlpool is also available. A fitness centre is on site. The beach is directly accessible from the property. An arcade and game room provide indoor entertainment for families (note: the arcade ticket redemption is only available after 5 PM on weekends). The property does not have a spa or wellness centre. Ongoing construction may limit access to some pool areas and the lazy river from time to time.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk can assist with late arrivals and basic requests, but guests should note that during periods of limited staffing, response times may be slower. On-site parking is available in a parking garage for $12 per day (no reservation needed); motorcycle and trailer parking are also offered for a fee. A safety deposit box is provided in-room.
