A Dollar General and several grocery stores are nearby for supplies.

Room types vary significantly by building. The Palms Tower is the newest and most updated, while the Dunes building is dated and basic with street noise. Oceanfront rooms face the beach directly; ocean-view rooms have angled balconies. Suites and condos include full kitchens with cookware and utensils; standard rooms have a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. All rooms have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms. Some units have in-room jacuzzis. Beds vary; some are comfortable, while others are firm or have thin bedding. A Murphy wall bed is available in many suites, good for extra guests.

Additional water amenities include 7 indoor and outdoor pools, 3 kiddie pools, 5 hot tubs, and an indoor/outdoor lazy river. The Sunken Pirate Ship has two kiddie slides. Outdoor pools are seasonal; indoor pools are heated. Pool hours are 9:00 AM-11:00 PM. The fitness center is open and equipped with modern machines. Shuffleboard and cornhole are available. The resort is located on a wide beach; chair and umbrella rentals are available from the lifeguard on duty.
