Shipotel Eastern offers cozy cabins with private ensuite bathrooms, a double bed (1.80 m), large windows, and - subject to availability - direct river views. Shipotel Western provides more budget-oriented cabins with shared showers and toilets on the upper deck; rooms feature a double bed (1.40 m) or a single plus bunk, large windows, and the option of a roof terrace (closed in winter). All cabins include bed linen and towels. Some cabins on the lower decks or near the engine room can become hot in summer, as only small fans are provided and no air conditioning is available. Street-facing cabins may experience noise from traffic and nighttime activity, while cabins on the river side tend to be quieter. Several reports note that cabin sizes are compact and mattresses vary in condition; requesting a higher-deck river-side cabin improves comfort and views.

The hotel does not serve breakfast, but free coffee and tea are provided each morning, which guests can enjoy on the deck or in the lounge. The Floating Lounge bar is open on the Shipotel Eastern, offering drinks on an outdoor deck in summer and by a fireplace in winter. Free stand-up comedy shows take place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings. For meals, a wide range of restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, including Pirates Berlin, Scheers Schnitzel, Curry One, and Seoulkitchen, as well as supermarkets in the adjacent EastSide Mall.
