Montauk Downs State Park Golf Course is a 15-minute drive away, and hiking and fishing at Camp Hero State Park is 15 km from the property. Montauk town centre is about 5 minutes by car and offers shops, galleries, and dining. The location feels quiet and secluded, and the resort can be reached by the Long Island Rail Road or Hampton Jitney, though having a private car is most convenient for exploring the area. A short walk across the street leads to Goldberg's bagel shop and other casual eateries.

Room types include Oceanfront Studios (1-20) with queen bed and kitchenette, Oceanfront Deluxe Studios (50-51) with extra space, Dune View Studios (52-67) with outdoor area and kitchenette, and Poolside Studios (22-23) near the pool and tennis courts. The two-bedroom Executive Suite features 1.5 baths, a large living room, and a private outdoor space; the Dolphin Cottage has a full kitchen, dining area, and a queen bed plus bunk beds.
