The motel sits directly on the Ocean City Boardwalk and is a very short walk to the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Ocean City Harbor is a 14-minute walk from the property. Numerous restaurants are within 0.3 to 0.5 km, including Boogs BBQ, Sahara Cafe, Malia's Cafe, Epic Bar and Grill, Sinbad Restaurant, Fish Tales Bar & Grill, Spinnaker Cafe, and Grand Restaurant. The location is excellent for walking to the main attractions and dining without needing a car.

The rooms are described as spacious in some units, particularly those with oceanfront views in the back building, but many are noted as compact and basic. Bed sizes can be full or queen, and the beds themselves have received mixed feedback regarding comfort. Flooring is either carpet or parquet. Some rooms offer shared balcony access, while others have no balcony or view. The property does not have a balcony on double rooms, and some rooms (notably room 205) are impacted by a bright, flashing neon sign outside. Noise can be an issue on road-facing sides. A microwave, refrigerator, and flat-screen TV are standard. Some rooms have a kitchenette in limited units. The air conditioning units in some rooms can be loud but are effective.

Breakfast typically consists of pre-packaged items such as frozen breakfast sandwiches that can be microwaved, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee or tea. Coffee is available in the office throughout the day. The breakfast is useful for a quick bite before heading out, but is limited compared to a full hot meal.
