EQUUS INN I75, Ocala

The Equus Inn I75 sits just 3 minutes from the I-75 exit and a quarter-mile east of the highway, placing it on Restaurant Row with numerous dining choices within walking distance: Tony's Sushi, Ocean Buffet, Olive Garden, and more are 0.3-0.5 km away. The property is a convenient base for visitors to the World Equestrian Center and Florida Horse Park, both roughly 20 minutes by car. Silver Springs State Park, Ocala National Forest, Rainbow Springs, and Historic Downtown Ocala are all within a 12-20 minute drive. The location is car-oriented but offers free parking for cars, boats, and large vehicles, and the nearby restaurant cluster reduces the need to drive for meals.

All rooms feature all-new furniture, mattresses, linens, and appliances. Bathrooms are completely updated with luxury rain showerheads, stone floors, and modern bowl sinks. Room types include Double Queen, King, and suites (King Suite and Two-Queen Suite) with kitchenettes that include a full-size fridge, dining table, and a separate sitting area - some with pull-out sleeper sofas that can accommodate up to six. Every room has a new Smart HDTV with streaming capabilities, microwave, mini-fridge (full-size in suites), coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and a work desk. Floors are tiled or have vinyl flooring, and rooms have hard shutters rather than curtains, which helps with pet-related cleanliness. Walls are noted to be thin; noise from adjacent rooms, hallways, and outdoor areas can be audible. Rooms face either the courtyard (quieter) or the pool/parking lot. No rooms have balconies.

The complimentary breakfast runs Monday-Friday 6:00-9:00 and Saturday-Sunday 6:00-10:00. The buffet changes daily and includes items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereals, baked goods, and a make-your-own waffle station. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby throughout the day. The lobby also features a self-serve bar with four wines and four craft beers (additional charge). A 24-hour minimarket and snack vending machines are on site. No restaurant is on the property, but Restaurant Row offers numerous dining options within a short walk, including sushi, American, Italian, and Asian cuisines.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated to 27 °C and open from 08:00-22:00 all year. Pool towels and sun loungers are provided. The courtyard area includes a large gazebo with a covered fireplace and an outdoor waterfall, creating a relaxing space. A 24-hour fitness centre is available free of charge, and the property also offers an on-site business centre. Outdoor amenities include a picnic area, BBQ facilities, board games, and kids' outdoor play equipment. Evening entertainment and live sports broadcasts (via Dish TV) are available. The spa facility is limited to a spa-style shower in the Spa Suite - there is no full spa or wellness centre.

The facility offers complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas. Parking is free, unreserved, and can accommodate boats, trailers, and large vehicles in the wrap-around lot. A 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/out and key-card access. Accessibility features include accessible parking, van-accessible spots, first-floor accessible rooms, accessible entrances/exits, a wheelchair-accessible public restroom, visual alarms for the hearing impaired, ADA tubs, and Braille signage. Laundry facilities are on site (additional charge), and a safety deposit box is available. Daily housekeeping is provided on request; it is not automatic. The property has CCTV both inside and outside, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and a designated smoking area. Pets are allowed for a fee, and service animals are exempt from charges.
