EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SUITES - NEW YORK CITY - LAGUARDIA AIRPORT, New York

The hotel sits in the Whitestone area of Queens, offering a practical base for travelers with a car. Citi Field is a 9-minute drive away, and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park and the Queens Botanical Gardens are within a 10-minute drive. Several bus lines serve the area, connecting to the 7 train for direct access to Manhattan. Multiple supermarkets, including ShopRite and Target, are within a 20-25 minute walk, making grocery shopping convenient. While not in a walkable nightlife district, the hotel's location provides quick highway access to both airports and central Queens attractions. Parking on-site costs $20 per day and requires a reservation.

Accommodation consists of studios with a separate kitchen area, seating area, and work desk. Each room is decorated in bright colors and comes with cable TV, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, heating, and an ironing board. The beds are described as comfortable, though some units have older mattresses or frames that may feel worn. The carpeted floors and older fixtures mean the rooms look dated but are generally clean. Road-facing rooms and rooms on lower floors can experience highway noise and hallway sounds. A few rooms may have a musty or smoke smell; requesting a non-smoking room and a higher floor away from the highway is recommended. All rooms are non-smoking by policy, but enforcement can be inconsistent. Kitchen supplies, a coffee maker, and bathroom toiletries are not automatically stocked; these items are available on request at the front desk.

The breakfast is a self-service station with pre-packaged items such as muffins and breakfast bars, plus a coffee and tea bar. It is designed to be a quick, light option rather than a full hot meal. No restaurant or bar is on-site, but the in-room kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator allows guests to prepare their own meals. Several supermarkets and a few restaurants, including Li O La and Gino's Of Whitestone, are within a 2 km walk for those who prefer to eat out or buy groceries. No milk or juice is provided for children at breakfast.

WiFi is free throughout the hotel, though it can be unreliable and may slow down during peak use. The 24-hour front desk handles check-in, luggage storage, and requests for room supplies (kitchen items, toiletries, extra bedding). Towels and linens must be exchanged at the front desk, not replaced in the room. A self-service laundry room is available, but dryers may have additional charges and the machines can be less effective. Business services include copy and fax facilities at the front desk. The hotel allows pets on request with possible charges. Parking costs $20 per day and requires a reservation. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, and MasterCard.
