The hotel sits off Interstate 40, making it convenient for travelers passing through or visiting the area. Downtown Cookeville is a few minutes away by car, and the Cookeville History Museum is a 4-minute drive. Cane Creek Park, for nature walks and outdoor recreation, is 12 minutes away. Numerous fast-food and chain restaurants-including Nick's, Baskin-Robbins, Blue Coast Burrito, Cook Out, Popeye's, Burger King, Dunkin', and Subway-are within a 0.3-0.5 km walk, offering plenty of easy meal options. The location is well-suited for accessing Tennessee Tech University and the many state parks in the region, though a car is the most practical way to explore.

Accommodations include studios, suites, and double rooms, all featuring a private bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Each room has a kitchenette equipped with a full-size refrigerator, freezer, sink, and microwave; select rooms also have a cooktop. Air conditioning, heating, and a seating area are standard. Some rooms offer pool views. Bed sizes vary: units may have 1, 2, or 3 beds, but advertised queen beds have sometimes been full-size beds. The overall condition is mixed-some units have updated floors and counters, while others show signs of age, including stained linens, burn holes in blankets, and mold in bathrooms. Spacious by budget-hotel standards, the rooms are quiet for back-facing units, but those near stairwells or connecting doors may hear noise from smoking rooms or barking dogs.

The outdoor swimming pool is the main leisure facility on site. It is seasonal, generally open from April 1 to September 6 each year, and is not heated. During warm months, it provides a cool off option for guests. The pool area has been described as clean and comfortable by some, though its operation can be inconsistent in some seasons. There is no gym, spa, or other wellness services. For outdoor recreation, Cane Creek Park is a 12-minute drive, offering walking trails and nature scenery.

The property offers a 24-hour front desk with room service and an ATM/cash machine on site. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Parking is free and on site, with no reservation needed; truck and large-vehicle parking is available. Laundry facilities are available for an additional charge. Vending machines for drinks are also on site. The property is adults-only (children are welcome, but no specific child facilities). Security features include key card access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. There is no airport shuttle service. Housekeeping is available but may not be daily; guests needing fresh linens or towels should request them at the front desk.
