FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES PHOENIX MIDTOWN, Phoenix

The hotel sits on a main road in a mixed business and residential area of midtown Phoenix, placing the Heard Museum just a 6-minute walk away and the Phoenix Art Museum 1 km from the property. The Phoenix Convention Center is 4 km south, and Banner Hospital is a 2 km drive. A light rail station is within walking distance, making downtown accessible without a car. Several dining options including Tru Burger Co, IHOP, and Switch Restaurant & Wine Bar are within 0.5 km, while a wider selection of eateries extends 0.5 km away. The neighbourhood is generally safe, with a well-lit parking lot, though walking after dark may feel less comfortable in some directions.

A free continental breakfast is served Monday-Friday from 6:30-9:30 AM and Saturday-Sunday from 7-10 AM, offering hot items like eggs, bacon, waffles, oatmeal with nuts, cereals, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and oat milk. Hot water for tea is available. While the breakfast spread is considered decent and includes some healthy options, the variety is limited compared to larger hotels. No restaurant or bar is on site, but the surrounding area offers numerous dining options within a 5- to 10-minute walk, including Tru Burger Co, IHOP, Switch Restaurant & Wine Bar, and Domino's Pizza. A small on-site convenience store carries drinks, frozen meals, and snacks.

The outdoor swimming pool is saltwater and features sun loungers, pool/beach towels, and a seating area. The adjacent hot tub/Jacuzzi is open until 11 PM, both created for relaxation in the desert heat. The pool area is shared between this hotel and a connected sister property, which can lead to a lively atmosphere especially in warmer weather. The fitness centre includes modern equipment and is free for guests. Both the pool and hot tub are well-maintained and popular for winding down after a day of travel or meetings.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk with express check-in/out, a business centre, and a minimarket on site. Daily housekeeping is included, and laundry (dry cleaning and ironing) is available for an extra fee. Luggage storage is free for early arrivals or late departures. The property has a lift, and facilities for disabled guests include accessible parking spots. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the building. Parking is $7 per night with a large lot and no reservation needed. Safety features include key-card access, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, a safety deposit box, and 24-hour security. An ATM/cash machine is located on site, and both cash and credit/debit card payments are accepted.
