Skylon Tower is 7 minutes on foot, Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort is less than 1 km, and Journey Behind the Falls is 2 km. A bus route stops directly outside for easy access to farther attractions like the Butterfly Conservatory. Several restaurants - including Passage to India, Moose & Squirrel Coffee Bar, and Taco & Tequila - are within a 5-minute walk. The main falls and Clifton Hill entertainment district are both reachable without a car.

Family rooms offer up to 3 large beds, ideal for groups. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers; water pressure and hot water are generally strong. Some rooms have been renovated, while others show wear such as stained carpets or outdated fixtures. The air conditioning and heating units can be noisy. There are no in-room coffee makers, but hot drinks are available at the complimentary breakfast. No rooms have balconies. For a quieter stay, request a room away from the stairwell or on the second floor.

The breakfast room is small and can become crowded, especially between 8:00 and 9:00 AM. Offerings include muffins, donuts, toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice, fruit, and occasionally pancakes.
