FIRA APARTMENTS BY GAIAROOMS, Barcelona

The apartments are in an excellent central area that balances event access with city exploration. Espanya Metro Station (250 m) connects you to Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas within 10 minutes, and Sants International Train Station is within 500 m. The Aerobus stop for Barcelona Airport is a 3-minute walk. The Magic Fountain and Las Arenas Shopping Centre are both within 100 m, and a wide selection of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets is within a 5-minute walk. Public transport makes car-free city travel straightforward, though street noise can be noticeable in front-facing apartments.

Each apartment is designed for practical self-catering stays. The open-plan kitchenette includes a washing machine, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and utensils. The living area features a flat-screen TV, and bedrooms typically have single or double beds. Some apartments include a balcony or terrace - request confirmation if this is important. The dedicated lounge area helps separate sleeping and living spaces. However, a few units are arranged as studio layouts without a separate bedroom, and some apartments can feel dark, especially those facing internal courtyards with limited natural light. Soundproofing between units and from the street is limited, so noise from neighbours or traffic can affect sleep. A lift serves all floors, and cots are available on request.

Because the property does not offer a restaurant or breakfast, the fully equipped kitchenette is your primary meal space. It has a fridge, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, and cooking utensils. Nearby supermarkets and bakeries are within a few minutes' walk for supplies. A wide variety of restaurants-including Barranco, Bodega Amposta, and Restaurant Caixaforum-are within 300-500 m, offering Spanish, Asian, and international cuisine. For those wanting a quick meal, Tapa Tapa and Pura Brasa Arenas are close by.

On-site leisure facilities are limited to the apartment amenities, so planning for relaxation outside the room is worthwhile. The Magic Fountain (100 m) offers evening light and music shows (seasonal). Montjuïc hill, with its gardens, museums, and the Poble Espanyol, is a short walk away. Las Arenas Shopping Centre (100 m) includes a cinema, shops, and a rooftop terrace with city views. For sports, Palau Sant Jordi is a 20-minute walk.
