The Fullerton L station (Red, Brown, and Purple lines) is about a 10-minute walk, providing direct access to downtown Chicago, the Loop, and major attractions. Several bus routes stop nearby. Mixed-gender dormitories contain 8-12 beds. Private rooms are available for two, three, four, or six people, and include options with a private bathroom (the Premium Crash Pad). Beds in private rooms are generally comfortable, though some metal-framed bunk beds are older and may creak or shake. Dorm bed lockers are large enough for a cabin bag and rucksack. Rooms have individual air conditioning and heating. Windows can be opened in many rooms. Bed linens are provided; towels are included but are small.

The breakfast area is busy during peak hours, and on busy mornings items may run out before 8:00.
