GUEST HOUSE BARCELONA BRUC, Barcelona

The property sits on Bruc Street, close to the main shopping streets and within walking distance of Plaça de Catalunya (1 km), the Cathedral of Barcelona (17-minute walk), and Tivoli Theatre (less than 1 km). Barcelona El Prat Airport is 14 km away - a 45-minute metro ride or 30-minute taxi. Numerous restaurants, bars, and supermarkets are within a 5-minute walk, including Sato i Tanaka, Petit Pot, and Santagloria Arago. The neighbourhood is quiet for the city centre, but some street noise is present, especially from nearby nightlife on weekends.

Private rooms feature air conditioning, a wardrobe, parquet floors, a sofa, heating, and city views or patio access. Some private rooms have the bathroom located in the corridor rather than inside the room - confirm at booking. Dormitory beds are in bunk-bed configurations with lockers provided. Bed sizes: double rooms have one double bed; quadruple rooms have two double beds; triple rooms have a double and a single. The property is older, and furnishings and cleanliness can be inconsistent. Thin walls and creaky floors mean noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor is common. Windows open for ventilation but street noise may enter. The property is non-smoking throughout.

The shared kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and basic utensils. It is accessible to all guests. Several cafés and restaurants are within a 2-minute walk, including Petit Pot, Santagloria Arago, and Bembi, offering a variety of cuisines. The surrounding area also has supermarkets for grocery shopping. No meal service is provided by the property, so plan meals accordingly.

WiFi is free in all rooms. Luggage storage is free and lockers are available. The shared kitchen is usable but may not always be clean. Check-in is strictly between 15:00 and 20:00; late arrivals incur fees (€30-40). There is no daily room cleaning - only one towel per person is provided, and extra towels cost extra. The property has a lift, CCTV, and key card access. Safety deposit boxes are available for an additional charge. Cots can be provided on request. The property does not have a 24-hour reception; after 20:00, communication is via chat or telephone. No parking is available on-site; public parking options are limited and paid.
