MELLOW BARCELONA, Barcelona

The hostel offers a range of accommodation: mixed and female-only dorms with 4, 6, 8 or 10 beds, as well as private twin, family and an apartment with a private balcony. Most rooms are heated and have air conditioning. Dorm beds have privacy curtains, individual reading lights, electrical sockets, a shelf, and a large lockable storage drawer underneath. A padlock is needed for the drawer; you can bring your own or buy one at reception for a small fee. Private rooms are basic but functional; the larger superior rooms have shared bathrooms, while some private rooms offer en-suite facilities. The apartment is fully private with its own kitchen and terrace. Bed sizes are standard for dorms; if you need a bottom bunk, request it at reception - availability is not guaranteed.

A continental or buffet breakfast is offered each morning for a 5 EUR surcharge - a budget-friendly option to start the day. For other meals, the shared kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, microwave, hob, kettle, fridge and utensils, making it easy to prepare your own food. There is also a minimarket on site and a snack bar with drinks and snacks. Vending machines provide convenience for drinks and packaged snacks. Nearby restaurants include El Raco del Pedrell (0.5 km) and several others within a 10-minute walk downhill.

The hostel provides free WiFi across all areas. The 24-hour reception desk can assist with tours and offers luggage storage (free before check-in and after check-out), so you can explore the city without carrying bags. Lockers are in the dormitories; bring your own padlock or buy one at reception. Laundry services are available for an additional charge. A shared lounge/TV area, dining room, and computers are free to use. The business centre has fax/photocopying services. A lift provides access to all floors, and the property is wheelchair accessible with grab rails in bathrooms. Security features include key card access, 24-hour security, CCTV and smoke alarms. The snack bar and vending machines offer quick refreshments.
