The hotel sits in a central but quieter part of the city, about 10 minutes on foot from Temple Bar, O'Connell Street, and Trinity College. The Jameson Distillery is a 5-minute walk, and the Smithfield Luas stop is immediately outside. Dublin Airport is 9 km away; the Dublin Express bus to Ormond Quay (€7) is the most affordable airport transfer, while taxis cost €20-€30. Connolly railway station is a 10-minute drive. The surrounding streets are walkable to most city sights, and the hop-on hop-off bus stop is 100 metres away on Smithfield Square.

Room types include double, twin (one room for two people), triple, and family rooms. Double rooms have one bed, triple rooms two beds, and family rooms up to three beds. Each room is private and has its own en-suite bathroom. The windows cannot be opened, so the room relies on air conditioning for air flow. Some rooms have poor or obstructed views (mezzanine-level rooms overlook a concrete wall, while others face the ventilation system or an interior courtyard). Higher-floor rooms on the 7th floor offer city panoramic views. Road- and lift-facing rooms can be noisy at night. The beds are firm, and pillows are described as very soft. There is no wardrobe - storage consists of a few hangers on a wall rail. The rooms are functional for short stays but may feel cramped for longer stays or light sleepers.

Breakfast includes a full English/Irish buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, beans, and waffles you can make yourself, plus a continental selection of bread, pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruit, juices, and tea/coffee.
