Asheville Regional Airport is 14 km away. Downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway are about 10 minutes by car. Free on-site parking makes driving convenient; rideshare is also readily available. Several restaurants, including fast-food and casual dining options, are within a 1 km walk. The interstate gives quick access to surrounding attractions, but some rooms may pick up highway noise.

Room types range from king suites to double queens and studios, some with sofa beds or minibars. The rooms are recently renovated with comfortable beds (extra-firm mattresses in some units) and soft pillows. Blackout curtains may not fully seal out light. Noise from the expressway can be noticeable; rooms away from the highway are quieter. There are no balconies. Standard double-queen rooms cannot accommodate rollaway beds, but accessible double-queen rooms have space for one.

The breakfast buffet includes hot items, waffles, pastries, and beverages. Variety may be limited later in the serving period. Coffee is available throughout the day. A small snack bar and mini-market offer packaged items. Several restaurants (McDonald's, Starbucks, Padthai Asheville, and others) are within a 1 km walk or short drive for lunch and dinner.

The indoor pool is heated and open all year, though capacity is limited to 50%. Pool towels are provided; the water temperature can be cool.
