HYATT SELECT PIGEON FORGE, Pigeon Forge

Located in the heart of Pigeon Forge's entertainment district, the hotel sits across from the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show and is about 0.5 km from Hard Rock Cafe, McDonald's, and Wendy's. Dollywood is a short drive away, while the Apple Barn and Cider Mill is just 0.5 km. The property is set slightly off the main road, making it quieter than frontage hotels, yet provides easy access to all attractions. There is no airport shuttle; the nearest airport is McGhee Tyson (about 50 km). Parking is free and plentiful on site. The area is walkable to several restaurants and shows, but a car is useful for reaching Dollywood and the national park.

Standard rooms offer two queen beds or one king bed, with cable TV, air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, and an alarm clock. Suites add a separate living area with a sofa bed and a kitchenette that includes a 2-burner stovetop, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, dishes, and cookware. The property has no rooms with balconies. Some rooms have a fireplace (electric). The property is older and common areas show wear, but rooms are generally clean. Noise transfer through doors is notable; rooms with good under-door seals are quieter. The hotel has elevators serving six floors. For light sleepers, requesting a room away from the elevator and on a higher floor is recommended.

The complimentary breakfast includes hot options such as scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and chicken tenders, alongside cold items like cereal, yogurt, bagels, and fresh fruit. The breakfast area is adjacent to the lobby with limited seating; larger groups may need to wait for tables. There is no on-site restaurant or bar. A vending machine area offers drinks and snacks, and there is a minimarket on site. For other meals, numerous dining options are within a short walk, including Hard Rock Cafe (0.5 km) and the Applewood Farmhouse Grill (0.5 km).

The outdoor heated swimming pool operates seasonally, typically from Memorial Day weekend through early fall, with hours 8:00-23:00. Pool/beach towels are provided. Adjacent to the pool is a fire pit and outdoor seating. The fitness centre is open 24/7 with basic cardio equipment (note that treadmills have been reported as unreliable). There is no spa or hot tub. The property also has a picnic area with outdoor furniture, a sun terrace, and an outdoor fireplace. Board games and puzzles are available for family entertainment.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas and generally reliable, though occasional outages have been noted. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out and private check-in options. A business centre provides free copying and fax services. Laundry facilities (coin-operated) are available for a fee; only one washer and dryer are on site. Safety features include key card access, security alarms, CCTV, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box at the front desk. The property is wheelchair accessible with grab rails in accessible bathrooms, tactile signs, and two elevators. Pets are allowed under 18 kg (max 2 per room) for a fee of $35+tax per night for the first 3 nights, free thereafter. Doggy treats are available at the front desk. There is no airport shuttle.
