HOTEL HENRI IV RIVE GAUCHE, Paris

The hotel sits between Saint-Michel and Saint-Germain boulevards, placing it in one of Paris's most lively and centrally located neighbourhoods. Saint-Michel metro station (RER B, line 4) is a two-minute walk, offering direct trains to Charles de Gaulle Airport and across the city. The hop-on hop-off tour bus stops opposite the hotel. Within a three-minute walk are dozens of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and souvenir shops. Many major landmarks-including Notre Dame, the Seine, the Panthéon, and the Luxembourg Gardens-are within easy walking distance. For those arriving by car, no parking is available on-site, so using public transport or a taxi from the airport is recommended.

Bed options include queen-size (160 cm) and king-size (180 cm) beds, with twin and triple rooms also available. Triple rooms feature three single beds with some separation between them. Only one room has a balcony, and rooms with a view of St Severin church or a partial Eiffel Tower view can be requested. Extra beds and baby cots are provided free subject to availability. Courtyard-facing rooms tend to be quieter but may feel darker; road-facing rooms offer more light but can pick up street noise. Some rooms have minibars with soft drinks. The lift serves all six floors, and the property has soundproofed windows, though internal noise insulation between rooms is limited. Housekeeping is provided daily, and towels and sheets are included in the room rate.

Two breakfast options are offered: a full buffet at 16 EUR and an express version at 8 EUR. The full buffet includes pastries, bread, sliced meats and cheese, yogurt, cereal, jams, honey, orange juice, milk, tea, and coffee. The express option is a lighter continental selection. Breakfast can be taken in the breakfast room or ordered to your room. There is no restaurant on-site for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding Latin Quarter has an extensive choice of cafés, bistros, and international restaurants within a two-minute walk. A coffee house is available on the premises for hot drinks and snacks.
