SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT SAN DIEGO MISSION VALLEY, San Diego

Each suite includes air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, tea and coffee maker, and a seating area with sofa bed. The bathroom is divided into two compartments - one with a shower and sink, another with a toilet and sink - allowing multiple people to use them simultaneously. Beds are generally comfortable, though some may find the firmness firm; earlier feedback suggests requesting a softer mattress if needed. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a wardrobe and carpeted floors. Highway-facing rooms can experience noticeable traffic noise; rooms on the opposite side are quieter. Wheelchair-accessible suites are available with adapted bathrooms. No rooms have balconies.

The free breakfast includes hot options such as scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, and pancakes, plus continental items like cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, and pastries. The selection is adequate for a quick start to the day but may become repetitive over a longer stay. The breakfast area can fill up during peak hours (roughly 7:30-9:00), so early arrival is recommended. There is no restaurant, bar, or room service on site, but several dining options are within walking distance, including a nearby Starbucks. The minimarket in the lobby offers snacks and drinks.

The swimming pool is heated and open daily from 09:00 to 21:00, with a shallow end suitable for children. Pool towels and sun loungers are provided, and the pool area includes picnic tables and a sun terrace. The fitness centre is equipped with cardio and strength machines and is free for guests. There is no spa, jacuzzi, or sauna on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, with a paid upgrade for faster speeds. Parking costs USD 25-30 per night; accessible and electric vehicle charging spaces are available. Pets up to 11 kg are allowed for a daily fee of USD 50 (max USD 300). The 24-hour front desk offers luggage storage, express check-in/out, and an ATM. A business centre, laundry service (additional charge), and a minimarket are on site. The hotel is wheelchair accessible with lowered sinks, raised toilets, grab rails, and Braille signage. Safety features include key card access, security alarms, and smoke detectors.
