The hotel sits at 165 West Nile Street in the heart of Theatreland, directly opposite Buchanan Bus Station. Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations are both within a 10-minute walk. Glasgow Airport is a 15-minute drive away, or take the airport bus to Buchanan Bus Station and walk three minutes. The OVO Hydro and SEC Centre are a short drive or a 30-minute walk. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the Botanic Gardens are a quick bus ride. Buchanan Street's designer shops and Buchanan Galleries are a few steps away. The concert hall and major theatres are also within a very short walk. For electric vehicle users, the nearby car park has charging ports.

All 118 rooms (renovated in 2020) are non-smoking and measure 28 m². Each room features blackout curtains, a work desk with lamp, a separate hanging closet, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Rooms have a private bathroom with a Grohe power shower (not a bath) and complimentary toiletries. Bed preference (twin or double) is a request and is allocated on arrival. Family rooms include a pull-out sofa bed, but when opened, floor space becomes very limited - suitable mainly for sleeping rather than extended family living. Windows can be opened but rooms do not have air conditioning; a fan can be provided on request. Interconnecting rooms (one twin and one double) are available. Cots are available but cannot be placed in a room already using a sofa bed. Some rooms face the street or a service area and can be noisy, especially at night when windows are open.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and served 6:30-9:30 on weekdays and 7:00-10:30 on weekends. The buffet offers scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, toast, pastries, fruit, cereals, and hot drinks. Gluten-free options are available. Grab & Go bags are available for early departures. The breakfast room is on the first floor and can feel crowded during peak times. In the evening, La Bonne Auberge brasserie (adjacent to the hotel) offers a bar and dining with light bites, pizzas, and a full menu; charges can be added to your room bill.
