The 100 Airlink bus and tram both stop at St Andrew Square, under a 5-minute walk from the hotel, giving direct access from the airport. The surrounding St Andrew Square and George Street areas are filled with restaurants, bars, and shops, making the hotel an excellent base for exploring the New Town and reaching the Old Town on foot in about 10 minutes. For those driving, the nearest parking is Q-Park Omni Centre, roughly a 10-minute walk; use the hotel's discounted voucher.

Standard rooms are tightly sized (around 14 m²) with limited surfaces and wardrobe space. The Sweet Bed by ibis Styles provides a comfortable mattress, though pillows are firm. All rooms feature soundproofing, a large flat-screen smart TV, air conditioning, and an en-suite shower with Arran cosmetics. The 'The Works' balcony rooms are notably larger, include a Nespresso machine, bathrobes, slippers, and a balcony with city views (some offer partial sea views). A few rooms on lower floors face a wall or a roof, so request a square-view or higher-floor room for better outlook. Twin rooms are available as 'The Duet', and family rooms can accommodate up to three people. Note that there is no in-room fridge or mini-bar, although items can be left with reception.

Breakfast is a continental buffet (includes breads, pastries, fruits, cheeses, yogurts, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, gluten-free and vegan options). Hot cooked items beyond scrambled eggs are not provided, but guests can enjoy breakfast between 06:30-10:00 on weekdays and until 11:00 at weekends. The restaurant serves international cuisine in the evening, and the bar offers drinks until 01:00. There is live music on selected evenings (notably Thursdays). During busy times, breakfast seating can be tight; a separate area for guests with dogs is available before 9am. Note that the hotel does not serve a full English breakfast.
