The hotel is situated on East Tropicana Avenue, a short walk from the MGM Grand and about 15 minutes on foot from the main Strip action. The monorail station is roughly 200 metres away, providing direct access to the length of the Strip without walking. For trips to the convention centre (6 km) or Allegiant Stadium, rideshares are convenient. The immediate area includes Denny's and several other dining options within a 5-minute walk. Note that the neighbourhood requires caution at night; it is safest to walk in groups and use the MGM Grand route when heading to the Strip after dark. The hotel's side parking lot door is locked from 6:30 to 10:00 am, so use the front entrance during those hours.

Available room types include King Suites and Queen Suites with sofa sleepers. All rooms feature a Keurig coffee machine, microwave, and mini-fridge. Bathrooms have walk-in showers (no tubs). Some rooms have views of the MGM Grand. The beds are comfortable and the blackout shades are effective. However, the AC units can be noisy in some rooms, and the sofa beds are thin with visible springs. Interconnecting doors allow some noise between rooms. For light sleepers, rooms away from the road are quieter. Cleaning service must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Rollaway beds are available on request.

The breakfast runs from approximately 6:30 to 9:30 am and can get crowded; arriving early is recommended. Items include waffles, sausages, patties, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereals. For early departures, grab-and-go bags are available upon request. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but a minimarket sells snacks and drinks. Nearby dining includes Denny's next door and several restaurants within a 5-minute walk. In-room coffee and tea are provided.

The pool area features a waterfall and is well-maintained with plenty of loungers and music. Pool towels are supplied. The gym is better equipped than typical for this category, with cardio and weight machines. A hot tub/jacuzzi is adjacent to the pool. The laundry room has coin-operated machines, useful for longer stays. These facilities can be used after checkout if luggage is stored at reception.

The hotel offers a business centre with computers, fax, and meeting rooms. An ATM is on site. Key card access and CCTV provide security. Housekeeping is on request only. The front desk can assist with late checkout, bag storage, and early breakfast bags.
