The surrounding blocks hold restaurants, a CVS, ice-cream shops and other local stores within easy walking distance. Since no airport shuttle operates, plan to drive or arrange a transfer for the 33 km trip from Tampa International Airport.

King Studios face the interior courtyard and add a kitchenette with microwave and stovetop. Suites pair two queen beds in a bedroom with a pull-out sofa in the living room, sleeping up to six; Marina View Suites have a shared balcony. King Villas provide a full kitchen, sofa sleepers and, in the two-storey Loft Villas, a bathroom Jacuzzi on the upper floor. The villa bedroom is upstairs, and the only bathroom is upstairs as well, so those with mobility or stair concerns should request a one-level room. Rollaway beds can be added to villas based on availability, bringing capacity to five. Interior styling leans dated in places, but bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.

Jimmy Guana's is open 07:00-02:00 daily, serving from the menu except for select weekend breakfast buffets. Live music, live sports broadcasts, happy hour and water-sport hire add evening and daytime options, and a golf course lies within 3 km. The fitness centre and games room are available on site. Fishing on the property is not permitted, though a few fishing spots sit within walking distance; boat slips are available on the marina for an additional charge. There is no spa, and pool access is reserved for registered hotel patrons.
