The surrounding neighbourhood is walkable and well-connected, making it easy to reach offices, museums, and entertainment venues. For drivers, the tight on-site parking garage (see Critical Operational Notes) is the main option, but the excellent public transport connection makes it feasible to leave the car parked.

Noise from street traffic can be audible in rooms facing the main road, so lighter sleepers should request a room away from the street or bring earplugs. The building was converted from a 1979 structure in 2019, so the interiors feel modern, though some wear has been noted. The in-room telephone and alarm clock have occasionally been reported as non-functional.

Breakfast is a complimentary hot buffet-style meal with options like waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, and fresh coffee. It is available from 7:00 AM. The breakfast staff, particularly Kerry, are noted for being friendly and helpful. Because there is no on-site restaurant, lunch and dinner must be found off-site. The location is excellent for this, with many restaurants within a few blocks-including Marlow's Tavern, J Christopher's, The Vortex, Ecco Midtown, and others.
