Radio City Music Hall is a 6-minute walk; the 49th Street subway station (serving the N, R, and W lines) is one block away, providing direct rail access across the city and to LaGuardia Airport (11km). Central Park, the Empire State Building, and Fifth Avenue shopping are within 15 minutes on foot. The immediate area is busy at all hours but the building is considered safe, with 24-hour security. Parking is off-site and expensive ($85-$90 per day); the hotel provides a discounted voucher.

Rooms are designed as queen or king studios with a queen bed and a twin-size sofa bed (suitable for one adult or two small children). The sofa bed is reported as springy and less comfortable. Each unit includes a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and tea/coffee maker; a hot plate is available on request. The HVAC system is centrally controlled - the fan runs continuously and loudly, and cannot be turned off. This has been a source of sleep disruption. Light sleepers should request a higher floor and bring earplugs. Blackout curtains are fitted but gaps may let Times Square's neon glow into the room. Bathrooms are compact, with a sink smaller than average. Daily housekeeping is every other day; request fresh towels or linens at reception if needed. Arriving before 7:00 AM provides a much calmer experience. Some breakfast items are offered on a lower floor near the laundry area. The rooftop bar serves a separate dinner menu with cocktails and light fare; it is adult-oriented (21+ only) and requires a room key for access. Dozens of restaurants - including Olive Garden, Sbarro, and Hard Rock Cafe - are within a 5-minute walk, but the hotel does not offer its own dinner restaurant or room service.

The fitness center is open around the clock on the basement level. Equipment includes three treadmills, two elliptical machines, two Peloton bikes, a cable machine with weight stacks, dumbbells up to 34.0 kg, and an adjustable bench. Space is limited, so there may be a wait for the bench during peak usage. There is no pool, spa, or sauna. The rooftop bar (accessible via the main building elevators) features both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the city skyline, a full bar, and a cocktail menu. The surrounding area offers ice-skating rinks and boating in nearby parks, and Central Park is a 15-minute walk away.

Wi-Fi is available in all areas at no charge. The front desk operates 24 hours, with express check-in and check-out. Luggage can be stored for free between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, but not overnight. The building has four elevators with a key-card security system that directs guests to a specific elevator based on their floor; during peak times the system can cause delays of 15-25 minutes. The hotel shares its lobby, breakfast room, and elevators with the adjacent Hampton Inn, which increases congestion. A safety deposit box is available free of charge.
