ONLY YOU HOTEL NEW YORK - NEW OPENING 2027, New York

The hotel sits on a quieter side street off the main Broadway corridor, providing easy access to Times Square, the Theater District, Bryant Park (600 m), and Rockefeller Center. The 42nd Street subway station (4-minute walk) connects to multiple lines across Manhattan. LaGuardia Airport is 12 km away; a taxi from the airport has a fixed price of $30. Several metro lines and bus routes are within a 5-minute walk. The immediate area has a wide variety of restaurants, a supermarket opposite, and an Irish pub next door. While the street is relatively calm, street-facing rooms can be noisy due to traffic, construction, and street activity, especially at night.

The hotel offers double, twin, quadruple (four single beds), and suite configurations. The rooms are notably small, particularly the standard categories, with minimal floor space - often barely enough for two people to stand side-by-side. The most frequently noted feature is a raised platform that spans the width of the room, with the bed placed on top, leaving only one side for floor access. This layout means the person sleeping against the wall must climb over their partner to get out of bed, making it unsuitable for those with mobility issues, injuries, or anyone who uses the bathroom frequently at night. The bed itself is described as comfortable by many, but the lack of a bedside table and the platform design are recurring points. Rooms have minimal closet space and often lack a proper chair; some rooms have a very small window facing an air shaft or a back street, limiting natural light and views. Soundproofing is limited: thin walls and windows allow street noise in, though rooms on higher floors or facing quieter inner streets are reported as quieter. Air conditioning units can be noisy and, in some cases, ineffective at cooling the room during heat waves. The open-plan bathroom layout means the shower area is separated only by a glass door from the sleeping area, with the sink and vanity fully open to the room, offering limited privacy. Daily housekeeping is provided, but some have noted inconsistent cleaning schedules, with rooms sometimes not serviced until late afternoon.

There are no dining facilities within the hotel. A vending machine with snacks and drinks is available. The hotel provides complimentary bottled water in the room and sometimes apples or small treats at the lobby. For meals, the surrounding area offers abundant options: a supermarket is directly across the street, a deli is three doors away, and dozens of restaurants and fast-casual spots are within a short walk on Times Square and Broadway. Delivery to the lobby is permitted for guests who prefer to receive food orders.

The hotel features a complimentary fitness centre. There is no spa, no swimming pool (the pool was removed), and no rooftop bar or lounge area.
