HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON OXNARD/CAMARILLO, Oxnard

Located in Oxnard just off the US-101 corridor, the property provides straightforward access for road trips between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. Several beaches are within a 10 km radius, and downtown Oxnard is about 10 minutes away. Nearby dining options include Uptown Pizza (0.5 km), Olive Garden (3 km), and Burger King (4 km). California State University Channel Islands is 18 km away, and Santa Barbara Airport is 76 km distant. The immediate area has numerous restaurants and shopping centers, though the hotel itself has no on-site restaurant. Public transit and rideshare are practical for local trips.

All units are suites featuring a separate seating area with a sofa bed, a work desk, and a kitchen equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher. Room types include King Studio Suites (step-in shower only) and King One Bedroom Suites (shower-tub combination). A limited number of Jacuzzi suites are available-inquire at booking. The general room condition varies: many units are spacious, clean, and quiet, especially those with a layout separating the bedroom from the living area. However, some rooms show wear with stained carpets, tattered drapes, and dated bathroom fixtures. Ant infestations have been reported in specific rooms. Air conditioning and heating are central but can be noisy; a ceiling fan provides a quiet alternative. Hearing-accessible units with visual alarms are offered. The property has no rooms with balconies or private patios.

Breakfast is served daily from 6:30-9:30 AM on weekdays and 7:00-10:00 AM on weekends. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, protein, pancakes, waffles, fresh pastries, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, chia seed pudding, fresh fruit, and juice. The breakfast is widely considered a highlight for its variety and quality, though some items such as bacon are not always offered. There is no on-site restaurant or bar for other meals, and the hotel does not serve dinner. A selection of nearby restaurants and fast-food options are within a short drive. The property does provide a BBQ area for guest use.

Free private parking is available on site but requires a reservation. WiFi is free throughout the property and generally works well, though some find it could be faster. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, ATM/cash machine, and safety deposit boxes. A business centre with free fax/photocopying is available, as well as meeting/banquet facilities for a fee. Daily housekeeping is offered but service frequency may vary. Laundry is available (additional charge), but the on-site washers and dryers have been reported as non-functional. The hotel is pet-friendly with a non-refundable fee and policy limitations. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible pathways and a lift, but the elevator bank layout may require a long walk from some rooms. Security includes CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes.
