STAYBRIDGE SUITES OXNARD - RIVER RIDGE BY IHG, Oxnard

The property sits directly adjacent to the 36-hole River Ridge Golf Course, providing serene views and a quiet backdrop. Oxnard city centre is 5 km away, while Ventura Beach, Channel Islands National Park, and Naval Base Ventura County are all within a short drive. Popular shopping at The Collection Riverpark is nearby, and the Oxnard Performing Arts Center is less than 8 km from the hotel. Malibu is a 35-minute drive south. The surrounding area is well served by US-101, and while the setting feels removed, major dining and retail areas are reachable within 10 minutes by car. The hotel is close to the fairgrounds. A car is essential for accessing most restaurants and attractions, as there is no easy pedestrian access to dining options.

Suites include air conditioning, heating, a seating area with a sofa and work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable. Kitchens are fitted with a stovetop, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, tea and coffee maker, and all necessary cookware, dishes, and utensils. Select units have balconies or patios with golf course or pool views, which can be requested at booking but are not guaranteed. Room types include studio suites, one-bedroom suites, and bi-level two-storey suites with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beds come in configurations of one king, two queen, or queen with a loft bed. Interiors are recently renovated and modern, with carpeted flooring and blackout curtains. Road-facing rooms may experience some noise during the day; units facing the golf course are noticeably quieter. Travelers with heavy luggage should be aware that some rooms are accessed via stairs without a lift in certain buildings.

Breakfast includes hot items such as eggs, a protein option, oatmeal, waffles, as well as continental choices like pastries, cereal, yogurt, and fresh coffee. The breakfast area overlooks the golf course. The buffet is typically well-stocked, though on busy mornings the single waffle maker can lead to queues. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day in the lobby. Every evening Monday-Friday, a complimentary social hour (5-7 PM) offers appetisers, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. For full dinners, there is no restaurant on site; a short drive leads to many dining options in the Oxnard area.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all rooms and public areas. Parking is free, on site, and does not require a reservation; spaces are generally plentiful and spacious, with accessible and van-accessible spots. A 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, luggage storage, and an ATM. The on-site convenience store and minimarket stock essentials. Business facilities include a business centre, fax/photocopying, and 10 event rooms with custom catering and on-site planning. Laundry is available (additional charge). Housekeeping is not automatic; some stays noted that rooms are not serviced daily unless requested. The hotel is fully accessible: the main entrance, pool, fitness centre, and meeting spaces are all reachable via accessible routes. Select guest rooms feature roll-in showers, grab rails, lever handles, lowered fixtures, and hearing-accessible kits. Safety features include smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, key card access, and a safety deposit box. Motorcycle parking is not available, but the parking lot has security patrol from 10 PM to 6 AM.
