The guesthouse sits in the Barajas district, within easy reach of airport terminals. A 15-20 minute walk connects to Terminal 2, and a taxi or ride-hailing service takes about 5 minutes. The area offers several bars, restaurants, and shops within a 5-minute walk. Barajas Metro station is a 10-minute walk and provides direct connections to central Madrid. The nearby bus stop (20 m) runs frequent services to the city centre. For those driving, private parking is available on-site for €8/day, but reservation is essential.

Room types range from single to quadruple configurations. Private bathroom rooms include a shower, sink, and toilet within the room. Shared-bathroom rooms provide a shower and sink in the room with a shared toilet down the hall. All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, tiled floors, a wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV. Rooms with private bathrooms tend to be more compact, and some have motion-sensor lights in the bathroom. Road-facing and ground-floor rooms can experience higher noise levels. Upper-floor rooms away from reception are generally quieter.

Hostal Aeropuerto does not offer a restaurant or breakfast. However, the surrounding Barajas neighbourhood provides a variety of dining options just a short walk away, including comedor (0.5 km), churrerías, Asian street food, and traditional Spanish grills, as well as a McDonald's 50 m from the door. The nearest cafes and supermarkets are also within a few minutes' walk, allowing guests to pick up snacks or a light meal.

The property does not have a spa or swimming pool. For leisure, the Olivar de la Hinojosa Golf Club is 2 km from the guesthouse, and Juan Carlos I Park is less than a 10-minute drive away. The guesthouse provides three communal lounges with TVs and a drinks vending machine, suitable for relaxing between flights.
