Sol metro and Renfe station are a minute away, providing direct rail and underground access across the city and to the airport in about 30 minutes. Gran Vía is just 200 metres away, and the Art Triangle (Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofía) is within a 10-minute walk. The location is exceptionally central for sightseeing, dining, and nightlife, but rooms facing the street can pick up noise from late-night bar activity.

Rooms range from compact singles to triples with twin or double beds. Some rooms have street-facing views or balconies, while others overlook an interior courtyard, which can be quieter. There are also basic, windowless interior rooms with artificial light - these are best avoided if fresh air or natural light is important. Bedding comfort varies: mattresses in some rooms are well-worn, and pillows are small. Storage is limited (small wardrobe, no fridge, no kettle, no in-room hairdryer - available at reception). Bathrooms are compact, with small showers and minimal shelf space. Daily cleaning is standard. A lift serves some floors; upper floors may require climbing narrow stairs.

Dining options are limited to vending machines offering snacks, cold drinks, and coffee. Given the hotel's central location, dozens of tapas bars, cafés, and restaurants are within a 1-2 minute walk on the surrounding streets, including Museo del Jamon (0.5 km) and several traditional tabernas. For those who prefer to eat out, the area offers a wide choice for all meals.

The hotel does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. Leisure activity is centred on the immediate location: Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and the museums of the Art Triangle are all within a short walk. The surrounding streets are filled with bars, shops, and nightlife, making the hotel itself a convenient starting point for exploring Madrid.
