SMARTR MADRID GRAN VIA 47, Madrid

The property is situated directly on Gran Vía, giving immediate access to shops, restaurants, theatres, and nightlife. Plaza Mayor is 800 metres away (9-minute walk), Puerta del Sol is a 7-minute walk, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is a 17-minute walk. The nearest metro stations are Callao and Santo Domingo (line 2), with Plaza de España (line 3) also within 400 metres. Mercado San Miguel is a 9-minute stroll. For airport connections, metro line 8 and line 10 stop within a short walk, and a paid shuttle is available from the property. Parking is not on-site but can be validated at a nearby garage on Calle Tudescos.

Studios range from 15 to 25 m2 with a double bed, kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cookware), and a bathroom with bathtub or shower. Some studios include a terrace. One-bedroom apartments add a separate living room with a sofa bed; two-bedroom apartments have one double and one single bed. All units feature air conditioning, a minibar, flat-screen TV, dining area, wardrobe, and tea/coffee maker. Rooms without a window are designated interior studios - booking a unit with views or a terrace guarantees natural light. Soundproofing between rooms is minimal, so road-facing or corridor-adjacent units can be noisier. The overall finish is basic and some interiors show wear; the most consistent positive feature is bed comfort and kitchen equipment.

Breakfast is hosted at the Ella Sky Bar on the rooftop of Gran Vía 42, a short walk from the property. The buffet includes hot options, pastries, cereal, fruit, and beverages. Breakfast runs on a fixed schedule; delays in service have been noted. The surrounding area offers numerous tapas bars and restaurants within a two-minute walk, including StreetXo, El Gato Canalla, and Paraiso del Jamon.
