In central Ueno, a short walk from Iriya and Itabashi stations, Ueno Park, and many restaurants.

The hostel is in a quiet residential area near Akiba Shrine (2 min) and Sogenji Temple (400 m). Itabashi Station (JR Saikyo Line) and Iriya Station (Hibiya Line) are both about 10 minutes on foot, offering easy access to Akihabara, Shinjuku, and the rest of Tokyo. Ueno Park and its museums are within a 15-minute walk. To Asakusa, it's a pleasant walk or one metro stop. Haneda Airport is 23 km away; the airport limousine bus stop is 7 minutes' walk from the hostel. Kappabashi-dori Kitchen Street is 700 metres away.

Accommodation

Basic dormitory bunks and private twin rooms, all with shared bathrooms, central air conditioning, and small kitchenettes.

The hostel offers dormitory-style bunk beds in rooms of up to 24 beds, as well as private twin rooms. All bathrooms are shared and gender-separated. Each bed has a privacy curtain, reading light, and power socket. Mattresses are thin and firm - comfort is minimal. Room partitions do not reach the ceiling, so noise and light travel easily. Air conditioning is centrally controlled per floor and cannot be adjusted individually. Some rooms have windows that can be opened. Twin rooms include a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. One towel per bed per day is provided. Coin-operated laundry and iron are available.

No on-site restaurant or breakfast; a self-catering shared kitchen is available.

The hostel does not serve meals. A small shared kitchen on the 6th floor has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and basic cooking utensils. A drinks vending machine is on-site. Numerous restaurants, convenience stores, and a 7-Eleven are within a 5-minute walk, particularly towards Ueno Park and the shopping streets.

Wellness and Leisure

A common room on the top floor offers a TV, seating, and a smoking balcony.

The 7th floor houses a shared lounge with tables, chairs, and a television, along with the luggage storage area. A small balcony provides outdoor space for smoking and a view of the Ueno rooftops. There are no other leisure facilities such as a gym, spa, or pool.
