Multiple metro stations are nearby, making it easy to reach other districts and the airport (9 km; a paid shuttle runs 30-40 minutes for 350 MXN). The area is walkable and feels safe after dark, but the street is lined with electronics stores playing loud music during the day and bars that continue until the early hours-so light sleepers should plan accordingly. Dozens of casual taco spots and cafés are within a 5-minute walk.

The dormitories feature well-designed box beds that each include a sliding door, built-in safe, shelves, hanging space, a personal light, and enough room for a carry-on suitcase-offering privacy rare in a shared room. Private double rooms are compact; some have windows, others are windowless. The suites (e.g., the Xolo suite) include a separate living area, terrace with city views, hot tub or spa bath, minibar, and tea/coffee maker. Air conditioning is standard, but a few units have been reported as malfunctioning. Road-facing rooms suffer from street noise, and the area's loud music can penetrate even closed windows. The interior design features vibrant Mexican decor and is frequently praised for its cleanliness and modern feel.
