STELLA BED & BREAKFAST, Mexico City

Stella is situated on Avenida Amsterdam in La Condesa, widely regarded as one of Mexico City's most desirable areas. The location is a major draw: a block from Parque México and a short stroll to countless cafes and dining spots. The Chilpancingo metro station is about a 10-minute walk, and the Metrobus stop is roughly 5 minutes away, making city sightseeing accessible without a car. Key landmarks include the Angel of Independence (3 km), Chapultepec Castle (2 km), and the National Museum of Anthropology (3 km). Benito Juárez International Airport is 13 km away. The neighborhood feels safe for walking, even at night, and provides a peaceful retreat from the bustle while remaining centrally located.

The property has a mix of room sizes and configurations. Standard double rooms (20 m²) come with a private bathroom with a shower, a TV, and a wardrobe. Some rooms have access to a shared garden or a sun terrace. The top-floor suite is a highlight, featuring a spacious bedroom and bathroom with a bathtub, plus a large private terrace furnished with plants and seating. Another room option has its private bathroom separate from the bedroom but still private to the booking. Room decor leans toward vintage and simple, and most rooms include a heater and a fan. There is no air conditioning. Some rooms are noted as being darker or more compact. Those in the main house are especially quiet and cool. The property does not have rooms with balconies. Daily housekeeping and fresh towels and linen are provided.

Breakfast at Stella is a central part of the stay. It is served every morning and changes daily, often featuring a cooked dish like huevos a la mexicana, avocado toast with eggs, quesadillas, or hotcakes, alongside a self-serve continental base of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal, toast, juice, and coffee or tea. The coffee machine is available for free throughout the day. While the breakfast is generally praised as delicious and generous, it is more homestyle than elaborate. Note that the property does not have an on-site restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner. However, the immediate neighborhood is packed with outstanding dining choices, from casual taco spots to upscale restaurants, all within a few minutes' walk.

Wellness and leisure at Stella are focused on its outdoor spaces. The garden is described as lush and quiet, an oasis in the city, with plenty of greenery. The sun terrace provides additional seating. The hotel does not have a swimming pool, a spa, or a fitness center. For leisure activities, the nearby Parque México is ideal for walks, jogging, or relaxing, and is just minutes away. The surrounding Condesa neighborhood itself is considered a large leisure asset, with its parks, tree-lined streets, and vibrant café culture.
