HOTEL ALEX BERLIN, Berlin

The tram stop is located right outside the hotel entrance, providing a direct 2-stop connection to Alexanderplatz, Berlin's main transport hub. Alexanderplatz itself is 1 km away, reachable in about 15 minutes on foot. Berlin TV Tower (2 km) and Berlin Cathedral (3 km) are within comfortable walking distance. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 27 km away. The immediate street has limited food and drink options and can feel quiet at night, but the central sights are easily accessible. Public parking is available nearby (free, no reservation), but the area is better navigated on foot or by tram.

All rooms include a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries, as well as a work desk, seating area, flat-screen TV, and heating. Rooms are carpeted. Room sizes vary: single rooms are compact but functional, while triple rooms offer more space. Some rooms have a terrace. Rooms on upper floors are generally quieter, while street-facing or ground-floor rooms can be noisy due to tram traffic and the street. Some rooms have been noted as having poor ventilation or limited temperature control; a fan is provided but air conditioning is not available in all rooms. Beds are comfortable, though some rooms may have two single beds pushed together rather than a double. Housekeeping is limited; the bathroom trash is emptied but full room servicing may not occur daily without a request.

There is no on-site restaurant or breakfast offering. A self-service coffee and tea station with filtered water is available in the lobby at all times. A vending machine accepts cash only. The surrounding street has several casual dining options (cafés, burger bar, Asian, and snack bars) within a 5-minute walk, including a bakery right next door. A supermarket (Aldi) is 500 m away for self-catering.
