The hotel is directly next to Neukölln Hospital, in a peaceful neighbourhood that is well connected for airport travel: bus 171 to Schönefeld Airport stops just 50 metres from the entrance. The same bus, combined with the U-Bahn, reaches Alexanderplatz in about 40 minutes. The nearest U-Bahn station (Parchemer Allee) is an 18-minute walk away, and bus connections to the city centre are frequent. Berlin's largest shopping centre, Gropius Passagen, is 700 metres away, and a supermarket (Netto) is just around the corner. Several Italian restaurants and a pizzeria are within a 5-minute walk. The area is quiet despite the nearby hospital; street parking is free but not always easy to find.

Rooms are well-sized and simply furnished in a country style, with underfloor heating in some categories. All have a private bathroom (most with bathtub) and a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms offer a terrace, garden furniture, and garden-facing windows - these are noticeably quieter. The building has soundproofed rooms and heating, but some rooms facing the street may pick up road noise. Room amenities include free toiletries, an alarm clock, and carpeted floors. An extra bed can be added on request. While the furniture is older, rooms are generally described as clean and comfortable, with good value for money. Some rooms may have limited natural light or face the front where the outdoor smoking area is located.

The hotel does not have a restaurant or provide breakfast. Nearby dining options include Villa Fellini and Ristorante Venezia, both 0.5 km away, as well as a pizzeria directly adjacent to the hotel. A supermarket (Netto) with a café is around the corner, and several bakeries and fast-food outlets are within walking distance. Given the lack of on-site dining, guests should plan to eat out. Many guests find the nearby Italian restaurants convenient and good value.
