The Accademia Gallery (300 m) and Florence Cathedral (10 min walk) are easily reached on foot. Santa Maria Novella Station is also a 10-minute walk, making arrival by train practical. The central market and many restaurants and shops are within a few blocks, and the area is quiet enough for a good night's sleep despite its central position.

Rooms vary: some include a private bathroom with shower, bidet, and hairdryer, while others have a shower and sink in the room but a shared toilet on the corridor. The property is older and basic in style, but rooms are kept clean. Some units have a balcony or small terrace, and a few triple rooms include a minibar and wardrobe. The 4th-floor location and lift access are practical for luggage. Double rooms with private bathrooms are recommended for more convenience; those with shared facilities should plan for the two shared toilets per floor.
