HOTEL ASTRAL VIENNA, Vienna

The hotel sits on a quiet street within walking distance of Vienna Main Railway Station (about 7-10 minutes) and the U1 metro line (3 minutes), providing direct access to the city center in a few stops. Belvedere Palace is 2 km away. The immediate neighborhood offers a variety of restaurants (pizzeria, bistro, schnitzel, vegetarian options) within 0.5 km, along with shops and a shopping centre near Keplerplatz station. While the area is convenient for transport and dining, it can feel less polished at night, with some streets showing litter. The hotel is well-suited for transit travelers, concert-goers, and budget visitors who prioritize rail and metro access over a central location.

A breakfast buffet is offered at an additional charge of €12. The selection is limited, and the dining area has been described as poorly maintained. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner. For other meals, there is a range of eateries within a short walk, including a pizzeria, bistro, schnitzel house, vegetarian option, and a snack bar, all about 0.5 km away. Given the basic breakfast offering, guests may prefer to plan their morning meal using nearby cafés, but the hotel's own breakfast remains the most convenient option for those who want to eat in.
