HOTEL CLERMONT MONTMARTRE, Paris

The hotel is situated in the heart of Montmartre, a lively area filled with cafés, markets, and entertainment venues. Pigalle Metro Station is a 5-minute walk, providing direct access to central Paris and major sites. Sacré-Coeur Basilica is less than 1 km away, and the Moulin Rouge is within easy walking distance. Numerous restaurants are within a 5-minute radius, offering a variety of cuisines. While the area is vibrant and well-connected by public transport, some streets can feel less safe late at night. The hotel's street is relatively calm, but noise from the bar downstairs and surrounding nightlife can be noticeable. For car-free travelers, the metro is the most practical option.

The hotel offers a range of room types including twins, triples, and family rooms. Each room features a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and wardrobe. A TV is provided, and some rooms include a fan for warmer months. The rooms are compact and functional, with a basic, older style of decoration. Some rooms have large windows that let in natural light, but noise from the street and bar can enter. Rooms above the bar are particularly prone to noise from music and conversation until late. The overall feel is of a no-frills budget accommodation; cleanliness and upkeep vary, with some rooms showing wear such as mold in the bathroom or dated furniture. Bed sizes can be smaller than standard, and pillows and mattresses are often described as basic.

The hotel's main dining facility is its bar/lounge area, which is popular for its evening atmosphere. There is no restaurant or breakfast option available at the property. For meals, guests can explore the many restaurants and cafés within a short walk, including options like Les Apotres de Pigalle and Café des Deux Moulins, both 0.5 km away. For a fuller morning meal, nearby cafés serve breakfast. The bar is a convenient spot for a drink after exploring the area, but guests needing more than snacks or drinks should plan to eat out.
