HOTEL DAR, Prague

The hotel is set on a narrow pedestrian street off the main tourist paths, keeping the area quieter than the main square while still being steps from all major sights. The Mustek metro station (green line) is a 10-minute walk, and a direct public transport route from the airport (bus 119 + metro) stops nearby. Cars and taxis cannot access the street itself, so drop-offs and pick-ups require a short walk over cobblestones - the hotel can arrange a transfer for 40 EUR to simplify arrival. A 15-minute walk to the laundromat is available for self-service laundry needs.

Breakfast offers a varied buffet with breads, pastries, hot drinks, bacon, and scrambled eggs, along with a dedicated kid-friendly buffet and special diet menus on request. The breakfast room has a charming, traditional atmosphere but limited seating, so arriving early helps avoid queues. At 10:00, all food is cleared promptly. The hotel's own restaurant is accessible from the hotel and offers a 10% discount on the bill for guests. Several pizzerias and trattorias are within 0.5 km on foot, providing additional evening dining options.

A roof terrace with outdoor furniture provides a relaxing spot with views over the Old Town rooftops, including the Astronomical Clock tower and Tyn Church. The hotel organises bike tours and walking tours of local culture (additional charge), and live music events are sometimes held at the property. Themed dinner nights are available off-site. For self-guided exploration, the entire historic centre is within walking distance.

The 24-hour front desk offers concierge services, tour desk, lockers, and free luggage storage for after check-out. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge, though only every third day; additional cleaning or towel changes may incur a fee. The lift is wheelchair-accessible. Business facilities include fax/photocopying. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, key-card access, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box. The hotel accepts Visa, JCB, Maestro, and MasterCard. A shuttle service to/from the airport is available for 40 EUR per car per direction.
